Biography

Wendy Chan, Esq., graduated cum laude from Pace University in 1998 with a B.A. in History and Minor in Philosophy, and earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2008. Her legal practice is focused on child custody, child and spousal support, divorce, and deportation defense. 

Wendy is committed to community service and has served as an Adjunct Professor at Harrisburg Area Community College, teaching courses in Legal Research & Writing and Ethics. She is an active member of the Women's Republican Club of Lancaster County and volunteers her time at Sacred Heart School of Lancaster and Wills for Heroes. 

Wendy also regularly takes on pro bono cases referred to her by MidPenn Legal Services. Additionally, Wendy has volunteered with the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund and the YWCA. 

Wendy has received Martindale's Preeminent Award, which indicates that her peers, including attorneys and judges, recognize her as having the highest level of professional excellence in legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards.
